Girls Days Are the Best Days

I always look forward to spending the day with my girlfriends. It is good for the soul and no matter what is going on in life, we can always find a way to laugh uncontrollably. We always overstay our welcome, losing track of time. Finding a new fun restaurant or adventure to explore is a task. Phoenix has so many choices, landing on an agreed upon point is always a task, but we always end up agreeing on one.

Luci’s at the Orchard

Kim always calls it (the Orchid), and it is hands down one of my favorites. Especially when the weather is perfect for outdoor seating. Surrounded by huge shading trees, a big white tent with outdoor tables, misters and even a splash pad for the kiddos (perfect for a lunch and play date with mom friends), you’ll find the quaint restaurant Luci’s. Inside seating is available (with air conditioning for the hot summer months) with a walk up counter for ordering.

The menu has a choice for everyone, salads, sandwiches, wraps, breakfast choices, you really can’t miss. They even have wine! I had the Grinder (Italian sandwich), and it was amazing. We also shared a club sandwich and a salad. More than enough to share and we would order it all again. They also offer a variety of desserts, cookies, cupcakes and the items you’d expect at a café style restaurant. If you’re in the mood for something a little different, they have a little store tucked in the back offering gelato, candy and even some of the retro candies some of us used to enjoy as kids.

Looking around, the vibe was relaxed and laid back. There were kids running in the splash pad, moms and dads chatting and enjoying their food. There were also plenty of people working on their computers and having meetings. A great place for anyone.
